Bank Robbery Gets Busted

For awhile, Chicagoist was confused about where we lived. It wasn't technically Andersonville, and we knew that we didn't live in Rogers Park. Where were we!? Ahh, then it came to us. We live in Edgewater. And today, we're glad of it, cause some shit went down over in trendy, Swedish, Andersonville.

Two guys decided that they would rob a Chase bank. (Maybe they've been getting all those phishy emails from them, too!) To their credit, they used a toy gun. We like it when people leave the real guns somewhere in Texas. However, it didn't go as planned... that is, they didn't get the money.

The Sun-Times gives the lowdown: An employee called the police, they showed up, the guys ran. The money was left behind, and just like in a classic movie chase scene, a police sergeant swerved to miss one of the guys, and crashed into the bank. Crazy.
