Chi*Town Sirens Giveaway

St. Patrick’s Day, the actual holiday, is this Friday. So either you’re gearing up for a second consecutive weekend of drunken revelry or you’re dreading the next wave of green-beer-chugging partiers who will inevitably take over the city, again.

Come Sunday, whether you’re cursing that last Irish Car Bomb or smugly mocking the "junior varsity" league, you’ll probably be ready for something different. Roller derby perhaps?

The Chi*Town Sirens will hold their first bout at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at south suburban Lynwood Sports Center (2030 Glenwood Dyer Rd.) where the Candystripe Killers will face off against the Thunderdames. A BYOB party bus will leave from the pre-bout party at Lelia Janes (1008 W. Armitage). We’ve got a pair of tickets to the bout and the party bus for one lucky reader.
