"Good-bye, Children."

As discussed previously, former Chicago restaurateur and presumably current maker-of-sweet-love-down-by-the-fire Isaac Hayes left the cast of South Park in a blaze of self-righteous glory.South Park Chef.jpg

[SIDEBAR: there are those who think that, in light of his recent stroke, someone else is making his comments for him. Could it be ………….. XENU?!]

At any rate, last night the South Park boys threw together a brand-new episode to give Chef a proper sendoff, a sendoff that had nothing – are you listening, John Travolta? – nothing to do with Scientology. And it certainly had zero to do with the rumors that the Scientologists pressured Comedy Central to yank the Scientology-bashing episode where Tom Cruise is counseled to come out of the closet.

Totally separate.

In last night’s ep, seems that Chef becomes brainwashed by a new cult called the Super Adventure Club that messes with Chef’s head and turns him into a pedophile.

And then he dies.

They killed Chef.

You bastards.

But as the children say in the eulogy: "We shouldn't be mad at Chef for leaving us … We should be mad at that fruity little club for scrambling his brains."

Screw you guys. Chef’s going home.
