Focus on Live Music

So vinyl lives!!! And it does sound better than a CD!!! But what sounds even better than vinyl (yep, it’s possible) is live music. It is one of the purest forms of song artistry, unadulterated and completely natura l- Milli Vanilli, Britney and "American Idol" excluded. What Chicago offers is an amazing number of venues for the most varied of tastes. From jazz and ska to punk and alternative, one has a chance to see new talent almost every night of the week. So give it a shot, go out, and see a local band you never heard of, who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised. Pictured above is Hotel Carlos jamming at Goose Island on Clark.
