- Dutch tulip growers honored the mayor and his wife for their long-term beautification efforts in Chicago by naming a tulip after Maggie Daley. Don't laugh, she's the first mayor's wife in the country to have a tulip named in her honor!
- The Cubs are now stamping hands with "BB" if you've got bleacher seats. Get it? Us either... apparently the "BB" stands for "Bleacher Bum."
