Rush Have Their Work Cut Out for Them

The Chicago Rush have earned a playoff berth in each of their five years in the Arena Football League. After suffering their worst loss of the season, 55-20 in Atlanta this weekend, the Rush need to find some success in the remaining two weeks of the season if they hope to continue their playoff streak.
The Rush still have their post-season destiny in their hands despite losing four of their last five games. They are currently tied with Las Vegas Gladiators and division rival Grand Rapid Rampage for the sixth and final playoff spot. The Rush do have the advantage of currently holding the tiebreaker over both teams. All three teams are also within a game of the fifth seed Utah Blaze.
This Saturday the Rush will play their last home game of 2006 at the Allstate Arena. The Rush will need all the fan support they can get to help them overtake the Utah Blaze; a win would give them the same 6-9 record, but give the Rush the tie-breaker based on their head to head results.
The Rush will then finish their season on the road at the Grand Rapids Rampage.
