Chicago Picked as Host City (No, Not for That)

So, Chicago has its sights set on the Olympics in 2016, which would rule, if only because it would require some serious improvements to the CTA.

But 2016 is a long way away, and a host city won’t be picked until 2009.

We’re all about instant gratification – we’re kinda like a two-year-old that way.

Chicago has already been chosen to host the launch of the national “Click It or Ticket” program this month thanks to a successful statewide seat belt enforcement program.

OK, so it’s not as sexy as the Olympics, but it also doesn’t involve any marching band clown armies. So, there's that.
