Bobby Bare Jr. and Sr. Ticket Giveaway

2006_05_baresohmy.jpgWho wants to see Bobby Bare Sr. and Bobby Bare Jr. for free? You do? Then we’ve got a giveaway for you, hoss.

The father and son duo will be appearing at the Old Town School of Folk Music this Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Chicagoist has two pairs of tickets to give away to Friday night’s show, and we’re making it easy for you to get your hands on ‘em. No essay this time, just plop your name, e-mail address and phone number in the form after the jump for your chance to win.

If you’re broke this week, but still need a fix of the Bare family, click here to listen to an in-studio performance from KEXP.

Speaking of Bloodshot artists, Waco Brother drummer Joe Camarillo was in a bad car accident recently, and the cat’s got no health care coverage (rocking so rarely comes with even an HMO plan). So Bloodshot is throwing two gigs at the Hideout to help him pay his medical bills: one on June 5th (with Nora O’Connor, Scott Ligon, Jon San Juan and Dan Massey) and another on the 23rd. It’s a good way to help out a local while you school your insurgent country ass.

Click below to enter the giveaway. The contest ends Wednesday night, and winners will be notified on Thursday. Losers will be dented and dulled and have their heart strings pulled.
