Bike the Drive

Chicagoist loves our bike. And we love how the city is so bike friendly, what with it's great lakefront bikepath, bikelanes criss-crossing the city, a bike garage for those who want to commute by bike, etc.

Really, what other major city would turn over one of its main streets to thousands on bicycles? Yet from 5:30am - 10:00am, bikes will reign supreme on Lake Shore Drive.

LSD will be blocked off from the Museum of Science & Industry to Foster, which will allow for a nice 15 mile course from the starting point to one end poing and back, or 30 miles for the whole course. While Bike the Drive is on pace to sell out, you can still register online -- for now. So sign up soon if you want to ride!
