2006_06_sports_carlos_zambrano.jpgIt's been a rough year for the Cubs and their fans, for the most part. However, Monday night's game in Houston was a bright spot.

Carlos Zambrano took a no-hitter into the 8th inning
last night, as the Cubs pounded the Astros 8-0. Preston Wilson finally broke up the no-no bid with one out in the 8th.

In addition to allowing just one hit in his 8 innings of work, he also provided much of the Cubs offense with his bat. He hit a 3-run home run, and drove in a total of 4 runs.

Kerry Wood, pitching tonight, now has a tough act to follow ... does he has another 20 K game in him?
