Dazed & Confused

We like to think we still have a little of the hippie in us. There’s an occasional Dead song we won’t shut off when we hear it, and we have the cutest little tie-dye we’re too ashamed to wear, but can’t seem to throw away. With all the arguments about hipsters and yuppies; we long for the day of patchouli, smoke ‘em ups, and grilled cheese sandwiches in parking lots.
So when we got the information for Buscycle, we were pumped, but perplexed.
From what we can tell, Buscycle is a bus powered by fifteen people who pedal it themselves. Once the Buscycle has left its departure route, it cruises around the city for a bit, stops, everyone gets out, sits on blankets, and tells stories.
The stories are supposed to be an extension of the stories told between strangers on the bus. The stories told in one city get shown to the Buscyclists in the next city, and they tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on and so on and so on. Anyone can ride the bus, and anyone can tell stories.
The Buscycle will visit eleven cities before it’s through (and if you must know, between cities it is transported by a “greasecar”, a diesel vehicle that has been modified to run on vegetable oil).
So, if you miss the old days like we do, get on the bus, alright alright alright.
