Let's Just Hope He Didn't Tell Them to 'Spread 'Em'

2006_06_13patch.JPGRemember the Illinois State Trooper who forced a young couple to strip after he pulled them over and was sentenced to six months in jail for it? Well, it seems it wasn’t just one really bad error in judgment. Now, another couple has claimed Trooper Jeremy Dozier did the same thing to them.

OK, dude, you’re officially a psycho. Making one couple strip? Anyone could make that mistake. But twice? There’s really no excuse for that.

Dozier has already been suspended and faces dismissal after being convicted of bribery and felony misconduct. The new couple suing him, Dimitry Baum, 22, and Maria Boyko, 18, claim Dozier pulled up behind their already stopped car on the shoulder of northbound I-94 near the Edens ramp. They claim they weren’t drunk but had pulled over so Boyko could urinate on the side of the road.

Um, what? You were sober and you still thought it was a good idea to pee on the side of the expressway? You’re already having a bad night when it comes to that. And then a state trooper comes along and tries “to satisfy his bizarre sexual desires and violate [your] constitutional rights.” That’s rough.
