Chicagoist's Summer Photo Contest Reminder

This extended holiday weekend should be another great time, weather permitting, to get out there and take some photos for our summer photography contest. Taste of Chicago begins today, fireworks on the 3rd, and don't forget the Country Music Fest. We're looking forward to seeing all of your photos. Just upload them to Flickr, and tag them with "Chicagoist" to be entered into the contest.* On Monday we'll review everything from the weekend and pick a winner. Fun!

If you need some motivation, or maybe just some tips, check out this great article on suggestions for taking better fireworks photos or this one on how to take better concert photography. As for The Taste, you should be able to snap photos with your eyes shut and get some good ones. The people, the food, it's all great subject matter.

*Previously we instructed you to tag photos with "ChicagoistDrunkfest" to be entered into the contest, but let's just simplify it. Tag all your great photos with "Chicagoist".
