Oprah is not gay.

What? You never doubted Ms. Winfrey’s sexual orientation? You are fully aware that she has been in a committed relationship with Stedman for eons?

Well, the Harpo head honcho felt the need to set the record straight, just in case we weren’t all convinced. Oprah told O, you know, the Oprah Magazine, that she and editor-at-large Gayle King have been BFF for 30 years and sometimes talk four times a day, but they are not lovers.
However, if they were gay, that would be O.K., too.
“The truth is, if we were gay, we would tell you, because there's nothing wrong with being gay," said King in the article.

Winfrey said that there isn’t a definition in our culture for a relationship between two women that is so “otherworldly,” concluding that the friendship has “been a very fun ride.”

And with that, we’re just going to bite our virtual tongues.
