• Cook County Commissioner Bobbie Steele will finish out the term of outgoing Cook County President John Stroger. She'll be the first female president of the Cook County Board.
• Yesterday only 10,000 people showed up for the immigration rally. People are thinking that everyone's just sick of rallying so much lately: "rally fatigue."
• Studs Terkel got a peace prize!
• We love it when "dirty" & "lewd" & "erotic" are also "artsy" and we don't have to feel bad about looking at it ... because, you know, it's art!
