Chicagoist Welcomes The Mooney Suzuki...and You!

We are knee-deep in Clusterfest season with Pitchfork Music Festival this weekend and Lollapalooza next weekend. Therefore, you’d think we’d be looking forward to brief breaks in the action on Friday and Saturday nights as an occasion to drink Gatorade and grab a healthy eight hours of sleep before getting up to do it all over again.

Of course, if you think that then you’ve probably never hung out with us. So let’s change that, hmm?

Chicagoist has joined up with our friends at V2 Records for an unofficial after-party on Friday, August 4th during Lollapalooza weekend. After Ween finishes pouring musical chocolate and cheese all over Grant Park, we’re heading to Double Door for a show with The Mooney Suzuki, Gosling, Blood Meridian and DJ sets from Gang of Four’s Dave Allen. The official start time for this unofficial party is 9 p.m.

Since you’re probably broke after spending your hard-earned cash on Lolla passes, we’re also giving away tickets to the show.
