Contest: Get Your Vox On

By Rachelle Bowden in Miscellaneous on Jul 26, 2006 11:41AM

2006_07_vox.gifWhen you hear the word "Vox" you may think of that delicious vodka you were drinking the other night, but what we're talking about is Six Apart's new personal blogging service.

Vox is still in "Preview" mode and is only available by hard-to-come-by invitations, but leave it to Chicagoist to have the hook ups! Five lucky winners will get Vox accounts months before the service is available to the general public and will also get invited to a party tomorrow night after work where they'll get an insider look at Vox. At this exclusive party, the winners will not only learn why everyone's talking about Vox, but will get to hear it right from Mena Trott, president and a co-founder of Six Apart and Andrew Anker, EVP of Six Apart. The party is cosponsored by FeedBurner* and TechCocktail and there will be light hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and loads of networking and mingling.

Our contest tool is on the fritz so this is what you need to do to win. Email rachelle@chicagoist.com with the subject line "Vox" and the first 5 people will win. I'll email the winners back with more details.

* Disclaimer: I work at FeedBurner and have known about the party for weeks, but someone from Six Apart actually contacted me separately through Chicagoist, not knowing I work at FeedBurner, to set this all up.
