Pitchfork Music Festival 2006 Day Two In Pictures

Whew!

2006_07_pitchfork2.jpgAfter spending more than 18 hours at the Pitchfork Music Festival 2006, we’re exhausted. But it’s a happy kind of exhausted that comes from knowing you spent all that time seeing great live music in the heart of the city of Chicago.

Day Two did not disappoint with amazing performances from Mission of Burma and Os Mutantes along with worth-the-price-of-admission sets from Jens Lenkman and Yo La Tengo and solid outings from Spoon and Tapes ‘n’ Tapes.

With a slight breeze tempering the heat, even the larger crowds throughout most of the day did little to temper our enthusiasm or enjoyment. We’ll be back later today with more on P4K06, but for now here are some pics from Day Two.
