I'm a Loner, Dottie ... a Rebel

Like the cast of a Universal Studios picture during the Golden Age of movies, the Outlaw Dinner is worth repeating (from 7-10 p.m. on Monday, August 21st). This time around, there's a sense of urgency involved, as the city's ban on foie gras goes into effect next Tuesday. This means we'll be working through the weekend to set up our "goose liver bandit" pipelines in the basement.
The menu for the dinner is the same as last month's dinner, as Erin lovingly detailed in her preview. Chef Robert Gadsby did add one course to the menu: a lobster amuse-bouche, to highlight Whole Foods decision a couple months back to ban the sale of live lobsters.
The cost is still the same $95 per person, and we can only hope we end the evening with a hemlock and witch hazel digestif. Reservations are recommended; dial 312-944-7676 to make them. We'll have a review of the dinner next week.
