What's Your Favorite Cupcake, Cupcake?

Cupcakes are so hot these days, and there’s more and more of them to try. If you’ve got a serious sweet tooth and a sharp palate, check out the Chicago Bites Cupcake Crawl later this month.

The local food blog will be meeting up with cupcake enthusiasts on Saturday, Sept. 23 to sample and rate cupcakes from various bakeries. The site is developing a rating scale and is asking readers to submit their suggestions.

They’re also looking for input on what spots to visit. So far, the list includes A Taste of Heaven, Café Selmarie, Lutz Continental Café & Pastry, Cupcakes, Swirlz Cupcakes and Alliance Bakery. See the full list and map here.
