Biscuits and Burgers

Look at this face. Tell us this isn't the cutest little face you ever did see? This is Glin. She is one of Chicagoist's many animals. She enjoys Montrose Dog Beach, licking your face, morning runs, pig ears, tennis balls, chasing her own tail and whining at her human friends to dig said tennis balls out from under the couch when they find their way under there. In short, she's our beloved pet. We can't imagine our lives without her.
Since becoming full-fledged pet owners, we've become all-too-aware of All Things Animal, and that's why we're huge supporters of any organizations that devote their time and energy to helping our favorite furry friends. Glin and Chicagoist are all sorts of excited for Biscuits and Burgers, a benefit for Chicago Animal Shelter Alliance (CASA).
Thursday, Sept. 21, from 5:30 till 9:30 p.m., CASA and Chicagoland Tails magazine are sponsoring the event at Carmichael's Steakhouse, featuring a picnic-style dinner for both you and your pooch. For $35 a human, and $5 a dog, you can feast on burgers, brats and vegetarian fare, plus score a drink and free parking, all to support CASA's mission to "... reduce the number of animals euthanized in the Chicagoland Area, and to find a loving home for every adoptable animal."
Think of it as a night out for you and your bestest friend to help those animals who don't have someone to love them and do the same.
