Mtrla Hrts Sprt Nxtl

chicagoist_200610_razr.jpgMotorola scored another big cell phone deal yesterday when Sprint Nextel announced that it will begin selling the popular Motorola Razr, Krzr, and Slvr handsets. Sprint has always been a laggard in offering new phone options, with one of the weakest selections of any carrier, so the announcement will likely give them a boost (but not a Boost Mobile -- Where you at?). Sprint also announced that they will change their name to Sprt Nxtl.

In other mobile news: hey, cell phone users are annoying! And many restaurants and movie theaters are even banning them! And some people disagree! Thanks for breaking that news to us, RedEye.
