Barack Attack

Barack10_16.jpgNo matter what you think of him, Barack Obama is an interesting study. So we’re excited to read his new book “The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream”. We’ll do a longer book review once we’ve read it, but we wanted to let you all know that Mr. Obama will be signing copies of his book tomorrow morning at 57th Street Books. We’re including the quip 57th Street posted about his visit, so if you’re all going, read carefully -- there are a few rules to follow.

Senator Barack Obama will sign copies of his new book, “The Audacity of Hope”, at 57th Street Books from 8:30am to 10:30am. The store will have special hours that day to accommodate the event. In order to permit as many customers as possible access to the event, there is a limit of three copies per customer. Also, in the interest of time, the senator will not be able to personalize copies, nor will he be available for photographs. Because the senator will only be with us for two hours, we cannot guarantee that everyone in line will receive a signed copy. Doors will open for sales at 8:00am. For more information, please call the store at (773) 684-1300 or check our website. More information about the event will be posted in the coming weeks, so please check back with us frequently.

You can see Barack Obama at 57th Street Books, 1301 E. 57th St., Tuesday, October 17, at 8:30 a.m.
