Tilly and the Wall Invades WP

By Scott Smith in Arts & Entertainment on Oct 16, 2006 5:15PM

Speaking of on-location filming in Chicago, the Omaha, NE, band Tilly and the Wall recently filmed a video for “Sings Songs Along” in various locations around the city while they were here for a recent performance at Abbey Pub.

Just in time for Halloween, the clip proves that zombies may be scary, but like the woman from the Don Henley song, all they want to do is dance. After being pelted by Halloween candy, the zombies make their way to Wicker Park –- presumably in search of cheap PBR –- and briefly terrorize a hipster couple there before one of their potential victims speaks to them in the universal language of boogie.

The shoot was headed up by Make, Believe, a local production company based out of the southwest suburban town of Midlothian. Pictures of the production can be found here.

Tilly and the Wall are on tour now promoting their latest release, Bottoms of Barrels. For more YouTube goodness, check them out during their in-store at Reckless Records.
