• Yesterday a woman was found strangled to death in her home in Hyde Park, and a doctor was found stabbed to death in his office on Michigan Avenue.
• A student fell to his death from a tower at the University of Illinois.
• The police department has a new policy for cops who get a lot of complaints against them: If they have more than 20 in the past 5 years, they're going to get a "training and counseling intervention."
• We hear a lot about science and math tests being required in schools. Now there's a new writing test too.
