Scaring Up Some Comments

Because Chicagoist is tired this morning, and because despite what some people think, we can't get up every single morning and just magically bring the funny, we're going to piggyback off this Sun-Times piece about Chicago's "scariest" places so we can whore for comments.
We'll give this the old college try and make a brief stab at trying to disguise it as media criticism anyway, because the piece is really no less lazy than what we're doing. It's simply a compliation of reader submissions about real-life creep-out spots around the city. Some of them are legitimately spooky places, like the Shining-esque Congress Plaza Hotel, the Graceland Cemetery, or the allegedly-haunted Excalibur nightclub. Others are jokey anecdotes about the men's bathrooms at Wrigley Field, the Hobo corner on El cars, and the American Girl Place. We do agree with one idea submitted by Sun-Times reader Darel Jevens though: the Harry Caray statue outside of Wrigley, with Harry floating above the disembodied, wailing heads of tortured Cubs fans, is scary as hell.
So, what else can we add to this list? Chicagoist would like to nominate the city impound in the bowels of Lower Wacker, especially if you're down there in the echoey, orange-yellow light of the wee hours. All submissions welcome, and if we get enough it'll be just like a Sun-Times entertainment feature!
