Justice Ticket Giveaway

Is it OK to love the French again? We transferred all that misplaced aggression to the Dixie Chicks, right? It just seems silly to hate an entire country that is so in favor of the libertine joys of wine, cheese and dance music. In the spirit of bringing us closer to our Parisian brothers and sisters, Chicagoist offers you a pair of tickets to see Justice spin at Smart Bar this Thursday at 10 p.m.
With so many artists having trouble getting visa clearance these days, we should perhaps thank our lucky stars that the DJ duo made it to the States at all for a handful of shows, courtesy of VICE Records, Turntable Lab and XLRBR. Audiences throughout Europe have fallen all over themselves because of their Simian remix of “Never Be Alone” (MP3), last year’s Waters of Nazareth EP, and their turntablist work on releases by DFA 1979, Daft Punk and Franz Ferdinand (MP3).
And speaking of libertines, Johnny Love is back in town to spin a few parties so he’ll be joining Justice along with Ian Hixxx.
Click after the jump, and fill out the form for your chance to win a pair of tickets to an evening with Justice at Smart Bar. One entry per person, and winners will be notified via e-mail Wednesday morning. Losers will have to stay home, put on their old Kurtis Blow records, and flip the lightswitch in their bedroom up and down.
