As Long As It Doesn't Whistle "Candyman"

The demolition of the old Cabrini Green housing projects has made for some interesting sightseeing. Chicagoist is like a little kid watching wrecking balls and big bulldozers mashing concrete, and this project has been on a rather grand scale. But apparently the teardown has had some audio side-effects too.
Via Create Digitial Music and BLDGBLOG, the remains of a few of the buildings have turned into giant flutes, whistling as the wind whips through their broken elevator shafts and once squalid hallways. Peter from Create Digital Music is now looking for someone to go out there and see if they can record the sounds.
On a somewhat related note, what does everyone think of the new metal building that went up across from Dominick's on Clybourn near Division. If the new Soldier Field looks like a spaceship crashed into the lakefront, then this building is some wreckage it dropped on the way down. We're all for modern design, but talk about out of place --we're curious if any similar projects are planned around there.
