In the past year or so we have really gotten into designer toys, as with any collection this takes quite a bit of dedication and usually a substantial, unnecessary investment. One of the more unique designers, the creator of Scarygirl, is Nathan Jurevicius. Most recently Jurevicius has sporadically introduced figures from his vinyl collection, Mini Treehouse.
To celebrate the arrival of the most recent member of the Mini Treehouse crew, Jurevicius will be at Rotofugi, 1953 W. Chicago, tonight. Heeni is described as, "...constantly juggling a love of music with his passionate need to live on the edge. As a hardcore Bollywood stunt driver, heenie is determined to take action scenes to an extra level. when the director yells “cut”, he races off the set to his local club where he spins old records on his retro-deluxe twin turntable."
While Jurevicius will be at Rotofugi for the release of Heeni, there will also be many of his other toys and artwork available. He will be signing and doodling from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Rotofugi will provide the beverages, the music, and prizes. We have been to quite a few Rotofugi events and the staff there always makes sure you have a good time.
