Yee haw, pardner, all these politicos are ripe for the rustlin' it's so cold today! Let's move 'em out!

  1. According to the federally appointed hiring monitor, the city of Chicago is resisting reform. In other news, the sun rose in the East today.

  2. Tony Rezko hasn't just been ripping off the locals. The feds think he was on the take in Iraq. Man, does this guy's reach go far!

  3. People that are passing Daley's ballot access petitions have been asked to sign an affidavit stating that they were promised no jobs, promotions or other benefits in exchange for the political work. So, you know, corruption is over in Chicago.

  4. And last, but not least, Dick Mell's wife Margaret passed away after a long battle with a rare disease. We like to make jokes and play around here at Chicagoist, but Mell's a decent guy, and we feel sorry for him. We hope he finds peace in his time of grief, and knows that our thoughts go out to him and his family.
