Juanita and Michael Jordan Hanging up the Towel

Juanita and Michael Jordan have decided to call it quits. After 17 years of marriage the two are separating "amicably" and their lawyers released a statement saying, "A judgment for dissolution of their marriage was entered today. There will be no further statements."

Juanita and Michael met in 1985, at a Chicago area restaurant and were married in 1989 in Las Vegas at The Little White Wedding Chapel. Other notable weddings at this quickie celebrity chapel include; Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Quite the track record this place has.

In 2002 Juanita Jordan, whose maiden name is Vanoy, withdrew a petition for divorce after the couple decided to try and reconcile.

The Jordan family currently resides in Highland Park, IL with their three teenage children. Micheal Jordan, who is 43 years old, is part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats and also runs Nike's Jumpman 23 brand. Recently, Jordan also joined the City of Chicago's Olympic bid team.
