Weekend Jaunts: Sunday Edition

We've got food, shopping, and Buddy Guy for you today. What else could you ask for? As always, feel free to add additional events around town in the comments section.

• One of our resolutions this year was to try new restaurants, it is all too easy to get caught up in the same neighborhood eateries. Today we are going to try out Yolk, 1120 S. Michigan. This South Loop brunch spot, they are open for breakfast and lunch during the week, has a large breakfast and lunch menu that includes some banana-nut French toast that sounds mouth watering.
• Since Buddy Guy is on our mind, catch him at Buddy Guy's Legends, 754 S. Wabash, tonight at 9 p.m. Tickets are $30 and as of today still available.
• The cold is coming, albeit briefly, this week so it is time to get some scarfs and gloves. We got a little note from Banana Republic earlier this week regarding their winter sale and it looks like they've got a lot of these accessories 50% - 60% off. It looks like the holiday shopping crowd is finally starting to die down, so hopefully you'll be able to retain your sanity.
