Hump Day Political News Roundup

All kinds of nonsense has happened politically, so lets take a look back at the week so far:

• In case you live in a cave and missed the biggest news story so far this week, the FBI arrested 20th Ward Alderman Arenda Troutman on charges that she took bribes.
• “Well, the thing is, most alderman, most politicians are hos.”
• Lynn Sweet continues to think she's a blogger. We like her better when she dishes on celebrities. Much better than Terry Armour.
• The ladies of the Chicagoist offices were abuzz yesterday about these pictures of a bare-chested Barack Obama that were published in People. Sweet wanted to follow him into the locker room, and Obama's physique makes Neil Steinberg think of butter pats!
• David Orr is at least partly to blame for the glitches on election night. Sequoia gets the rest of the blame.
• A policy analyst from Blago's office claims that she was fired for running against the candidate backed by the Machine.
• Big Red had a garage sale. Since she isn't in the Governor's Mansion.
