Focus on Penguins

We love penguins. Cute, chunky, playful and fascinating, we really cannot get enough of the little creatures. Having not been in quite a while, we made our way to the Shedd Aquarium on Saturday to go see them frolick on the rocks and splash in the water. After being told the line to get into the aquarium was out the door, we were a bit worried that our plans would be foiled, but fortunately, we made the smart decision to inquire about a membership. We spent a good couple of hours exploring the museum, but naturally, we spent the most time in penguin land. Popular with everyone from grandpas to kids, just about everyone seemed to be captivated, watching them with smiles plastered on their faces. A wonderful weekend diversion, for sure.
