Vacation With Da Bears

Most bears have to hibernate in order to ride out the cold winters. Chicago Bears, however, have better options available to them. A trip to the Super Bowl would mean time basking in the Miami sun. Those invited to the Pro Bowl get to enjoy the warm, tropical Hawaiian climate. And certain Bears will host fans at a Bears getaway vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Apple Vacations is offering a four-night Bears-fan vacation with current players Rashied Davis, Bernard Barrian and Robbie Gould, as well as Jimbo Covert and Shaun Gayle — members of the Super Bowl XX team.
Chicagoist just returned from two weeks in Puerto Vallarta, but that doesn't mean that we don't want to go back with the Bears. We're pretty sure the game of touch football on the beach would be a lot more awesome with Davis or Barrian as our target instead of our cousin. And we'd love to see what happens when Robbie Gould tries to convice some hot girl at Senor Frog's that he's really an NFL player. Plus, we know a great all-you-can-eat churrascaria that Covert would get his money's worth at.
If only we had any more vacation time left....
Don't forget, a limited number of tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning for the NFC Championship game. Tickets will only be sold via Ticketmaster, not at the Soldier Field box office. Let us know if you get through and what sort of illicit favors you'll accept for a ticket since we can't offer you lipo like this guy.
