Shellac Helps Out the Little Guy

2007_01_cal.jpgWe told you about the benefit that happened last weekend at the Empty Bottle for Callum Robbins’ family. If seeing all those great bands and trying to win those raffle prizes didn’t seem like enough to help defray Cal’s medical expenses, we’ve got another night for you to mark on the calendar — Friday, April 27. Have you circled it yet?

Because Shellac will be getting together at Subterranean for a second benefit here in Chicago.

That’s right — Shellac will be playing Subterranean's intimate space. We don’t even care what the price is, because it’s all going to help out the Robbins family. Tickets were not on sale yet at Subterranean’s website, but keep those eyes peeled. These tickets will go faster than fast!

The family blog is here. Feel free to donate here. Let’s make sure that it’s hard for Callum to grow up to be a cynical punk rocker with all our love freely flowing in his direction.
