Tribune Bogarting RedEye Name

Since the re-election of George W. Bush, Fox News has seen its ratings fall. While they still have a large base of viewers, it seems they have been introducing new programs in the hopes of wrangling some of the conservatives that may have been lost in cableland for the past 2.5 years.
One of the new programs they recently started airing is Red Eye. The show, hosted by Greg Gutfield from Stuff magazine, is a show on current events, politics and pop culture. Sound somewhat familiar? Yeah, the Tribune Co. thought so too. They filed a trademark lawsuit against Fox News for using the name. They are also seeking an unspecified amount due to damages, most likely due to the emotional stress the company has been feeling.
Perhaps the lawsuit will be moot, what with Rupert Murdoch and Fox News showing interest in the Tribune. Not withstanding the fact that we adamantly believe anything this city produces far surpasses anything the Fox News headquarters can produce, taking a look at the clip of the show, we are certain our RedEye is much more humorous.
