Learn Something: Looking for a little culinary education in the coming week? Get your cheese and beer on at The Chopping Block in Lincoln Square on March 8. For an even forty bucks you get to meet Goose Island brewmaster Greg Hall and learn all about artisan cheeses and gloriously strong stout.

New Chef: Never been to Boka Restaurant? Or perhaps you've been but weren't all that impressed. Well, Giuseppe Tentori is the restaurant's new executive chef (and a Charlie Trotter's alumnus, no less). Tentori plans on staying true to Boka's roots but branching out in terms of menu and d├ęcor. If you've got the time and the curiosity, check it out.

Society Dinner: Feel like going on a little drive that ends with dinner and wine? The Northern Illinois Branch of the International Wine & Food Society (try saying that three times, fast) is holding a dinner at Adelle's Fine American Fare this Saturday. For $85 you can enjoy a three course dinner (plus appetizers) with appropriately paired wines. Get yourself to Wheaton and enjoy!
