Focus on a Day at the Beach

The frigid air our skirt-wearing self met with this morning was in stark opposition from the amazingly warm, "no jacket required" spring temperatures we got a taste of last week. We tend to bypass the beach for the most part in the summer, as E. coli and screaming children don't usually feature prominently in our definition a great way to spend a sweltering day. However, on an early evening last week, the multi-colored beachgoers we found working out, playing with (agreeable) children and dogs, and simply enjoying the beautiful weather helped us remember the merits of the city's sandy shores.
