"Ocean's Thirteen" Coming to Chicago, Brangelina Sightings Expected

Chicagoist woke up this morning and thought to ourself, "If only we could think of something, anything, to do with this extra $500 in our pocket. Something glamorous, and possibly involving a Brangelina sighting." And then we read the Sun-Times, and all of our questions were answered.

2007_4_oceans.jpegOcean's Thirteen will have its premiere in Chicago at the AMC River East 21 on June 7, followed by a $500-a-head gala at the soon-to-be-opened Room 21. What is interesting, and somewhat perplexing, about this news is that not a single scene of the film was shot in Chicago, yet the premiere of the film is happening here. But hey, we aren't complaining. After all, the party benefits the International Rescue Committee, which means Angelina has to show up, right? And we heard with her, comes some guy named Brad Pitt. Other stars that are expected to attend include George Clooney, Don Cheadle and Matt Damon.
