Take This to the Bank!

Louisa Chu over at Movable Feast announced on her site that renowned French physicist Hervé This, one of the godfathers of the molecular gastronomy (or "science food") movement, will be in town this weekend to lead a seminar on the movement, the first such seminar ever held in the United States. A quick e-mail to Ms. Chu confirmed that the seminar is free!!

Those of you who can't afford and/or don't know what the big deal is about Alinea or moto, and are a bit too hesitant to try espesso, can now find out for yourselves why folks are drawn to this unique style of cooking. Let's face it, "free" fits into anyone's budget. The seminar will be held at the Union League Club of Chicago, and you will need to dress appropriately (and RSVP like, yesterday) for the club.
