We've got a little bit of everything today to get you out of the house and over the blues that have overtaken many because of this second Winter we have been experiencing. Besides, it is supposed to hit the 50's today, so time to celebrate.
- We didn't have time to head to the WLUW record fair yesterday, but all the better with the sunny weather. The fifth annual record fair is at Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, 1419 West Blackhawk. Be sure to catch the Dance Dance Revolution tournament, oh and there is a little Guitar Hero action.
- Messhall presents the Waste Stream Diversions Allium Collective with a talk on the ecological and political consequences of our energy usage. The collective is currently in their month long energy fast, and will talk about their experience and reasoning at 7 p.m. at 6932 N. Glenwood.
- We are a big fans of early shows on Sunday, it is a nice last hoorah for a weekend that seems far too short. Tonight at 6:30 we are going to check out Denison Witmer and Rosie Thomas at The Beat Kitchen, 2100 W. Belmont. The show should include lots of impromptu sessions between the two, combining intense and beautiful lyrics that are sure to resonate in your head for days.
