Once again, the Museum of Science and Industry will prey upon the city's nocturnal procrastinators and stay open around the clock for the last weekend of the BODY WORLDS 2 exhibit. Starting this Friday at 9:30 a.m. you can see the exhibit straight through until 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The museum recommends getting your tickets online by midnight on Thursday. After that, if there are any left, they will be sold at the museum on a first come, first served basis.

While we support anything that allows for as many people as possible to experience this fascinating display, we can't help but wonder -- just who is going to show up at three and four in the morning? Although, come to think of it, we can't tell you how many times we've closed out the bars and cursed the museum gods for not keeping those babies open all night. What goes better with a late-night burrito than exposed, plastinated musculature?

There's some buzz around the Chicagoist office about sending over our on-the-street investigative journalists to scope out the BODY WORLDS scene in the wee hours of the night/morning. We won't be drunk, but we can't make any promises about the burritos.
