Can Hinrich Keep His Cool Against Heat?

Chicagoist is known to throw things when calls don't go our team's way, too, but it's a little harder to get away with when actually playing in the game. Kirk Hinrich learned that lesson in a course taught by NBA VP of basketball operations, Stu Jackson, who fined the Bulls' guard $25,000 for tossing his mouth guard into the stands during Saturday's playoff game agains the Miami Heat.
Hinrich's action came after getting called for his fourth personal foul, less than a minute into the second half. He'd spent much of the first half on the bench with foul trouble. After tossing the mouth piece, he drew a technical foul as well.
Because of his foul troubles Satruday, Hinrich was limited to just 19 minutes on the court where he scored just two points and dished three assists while racking up five fouls and four turnovers in a game in which he claimed to be, "as frustrated as I've ever been playing basketball."
The Bulls and Heat face off again tonight at the United Center in the best-of-seven series. Let's hope Hinrich can keep his cool a little better this time. As for us, we'll try and behave, too. But that's because we don't want to risk breaking the screen on our new HDTV.
