It’s that time again where we decide what to do with all this cash burning a hole in our pocket.

2007_05_rufus.jpgRufus Wainwright will be performing at Ravinia towards the end of the season. Release the Stars is due out May 15 – plenty of time to learn all the new songs to swoon to before riding the rails to Ravinia.

This time it’s a lady who’s friends with some heavy hitters of the alt-scene – Rosie Thomas. These Friends of Mine features Sufjan Stevens and Denison Witmer among others. This last one is for all the haters of seeing dark music in the bright sun. Catch Interpol inside where the sun’s rays can’t burn that delicate skin like it will during Lollapalooza. This show is before their upcoming album’s rumored release date of July 10, so expect to hear new stuff that we don’t know yet.
