Though we love summer in Chicago, we might take a "vacation" from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area and book ourselves a room at the Fairmont - in Chicago. It isn't that we want to be pampered or not have to clean up after ourselves for a weekend, we just want to know what chocolate chicken pizza flavored ice cream tastes like.

And it can happen. The wildest of dreams can come true at the Fairmont Hotel, if your wildest dreams involve making custom ice cream. The hotel will offer guests the chance to combine their own flavors to create a unique frozen treat. All you have to do is book a stay, and then contact the hotel at least 48 hours before your arrival. You will get a phone consultation with Aria Restaurant and Bar executive chef, Noah Bekofsky, and discuss the pros and cons of a burrito flavored pint. He will offer help and suggestions for the less imaginative and ask questions about your favorite flavors, but he recommends saving your taste buds by only combining five flavors. At only $12 a carton, we think there has to be some catch (obviously you still have to stay at the hotel).

What would you flavors do you want? We are going to make those Iron Chefs and their urchin flavored ice cream seem tame.
