Mr. Nice Guy Nabbed

On Friday night at the 5400 block of S. Kilbourn police seized 992 pounds of marijuana. The street value of the weed clocks in at around $2.7 million and according to the authorities the marijuana looked as if it had been recently shipped.
As a point of reference for the mass amount of marijuana seized, the following weigh approximately the same; the hog shot by an 11-year old in Alabama, this totally real video of Pat Robertson leg lifting 1,000 lbs, the amount of garbage picked up by climbers on Mt. Everest. A brick of marijuana weighs about 2.2 lbs, so about 437 bricks. Jose Leanos, who has been charged in the crime, was somehow smart enough to get the bricks delivered to his home undetected.
But, when it came time to store it, he put it in his garage and poured liquid detergent on the floor to hide the smell. Neighbors called the police because of drug activity in the neighborhood and the officers say they could smell the marijuana from two doors down. They promptly got a warrant and that's when they found the source of the smell, with perhaps a touch of Tide Clean Breeze scent.
