Designer Denim at Prices that Won't Make You Cry

By Olivia Leigh in Miscellaneous on Jul 13, 2007 7:45PM

While we tend to wear skirts or dresses about 350 days of the year, we’d be lying if we said jeans played had no place in our wardrobe. Although we don’t wear them as often as many of our friends, few clothing options offer as much versatility as a sharp pair of jeans.

That said, we’ve sadly been lacking in the jeans department for a while, as our favorite pair of 7 for All Mankind’s sadly bit the dust a few months ago. Seemingly forgetting just how much the schmancy designer jeans can run, we’ve been instead choosing to fund camera purchases, a new bathing suit, and occasional nights of debauchery with our $200.

2007_07_jeans.jpgThankfully, however, we finally might be able to get a new pair of our old Sevens for a price that won’t make us weep. This Saturday and Sunday, River West space Kaleidoscope will be hosting The Warehouse Sale, a sample sale extravaganza with designer jeans at wholesale prices.

Although The Warehouse Sale’s site declines to name which labels can be found, they guarantee at least 20 denim designer labels, with classic standbys 7 for all Mankind, Citizens of Humanity and Juicy Jeans having made appearances in the past.

Based on photos from other Warehouse Sale events across the country, it looks like you may want to prepare for a long line to score a deal. But given the opportunity to get some designer denim without having to commit to a ramen diet for a week, we’ll gladly bask in the sun’s hot rays for a while.

Check out The Warehouse Sale, this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Kaleidoscope (800 W. Superior St.). RSVP on the Website for free entry, or pay $3 at the door.
