Bumper to Bumper Sports Weekend at Toyota Park

2008_08_24_toyota_park.jpgToyota Park will be home to a professional soccer game and an international friendly rugby match this weekend. On Saturday night the Chicago Fire will look to exact revenge when they host Kansas City, to whom they lost 3-2 in a mid-week clash.

The Fire and Kansas City have split their previous two matches with the home side winning each game. Both games have been close, determined by just one goal. The Fire are badly in need of securing 3 points for a victory when playing at home.

After the game the ground crew will start transforming the field for Sunday's Setanta Challenge Rugby World Cup Send-Off Match featuring the U.S. Men's Rugby World Cup team and the 2006 Heineken (European Cup) champions Munster. This will be the final game for the Eagles in advance of the 2007 Rugby World Cup that begins in September in France.

Information on tickets to both events can be found on the Toyota Park website.
