Turn To the Left, Turn to the Right, Fashion!

It's Fashion Focus time again! Now in its third year, the six-day event will feature Chicago designers, shopping tours, fashion business seminars and will generally kick ass.

The success of the event in the past few years has caught the attention of high-profile designers and attracted the industry to a city that has often been regarded as pretty low on the fashion totem pole. A quick survey of the streets on an average day might still yield a few too many fanny packs or white socks with dress pants, but event organizers have spent a lot of time and money each year to highlight the world-class designers and the mega market the city offers.

Runway shows and events will be going on throughout the city all week, so we recommend you take a look at the schedule (we especially recommend anything to do with up-and-coming designers in the area, like Fresh Faces in Fashion). Also, take a look in the mirror before attending. You know. Represent.
